Terms of Sale (Trade)

Last updated: 25 October 2026

These terms apply to all sales of goods by Pionic Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 14077366), registered office Unit 3 Hampstead Gate, 1a Frognal, London NW3 6AL ("Pionic", "we", "us"), to business customers ("you"). Our battery catalogue is for trade customers only. By placing an order you confirm you are acting in the course of a business.

1.1 You must hold an approved trade account to view trade prices and place orders. We may approve or decline any application at our discretion.

1.2 You must keep your sign-in details secure and tell us promptly of any change to your business details.

2.1 An order request or order submitted through our website is an offer to buy. A contract is formed only when we confirm the order in writing (including by email) or issue an invoice.

2.2 We may decline or cancel an order, for example if goods are unavailable or a price was shown in error. If we cancel after you have paid, we will refund you in full.

2.3 Product images and descriptions are for guidance. Specifications may change without notice where this does not materially affect performance.

3.1 Prices are in pounds sterling and exclude VAT, which is added at the applicable rate.

3.2 Delivery charges, if any, are confirmed for each order before it is accepted.

3.3 Where card payment is offered, payment is taken at the time of order.

3.4 Where we have approved credit terms for your account, invoices are payable within 30 days of the invoice date, up to the credit limit we set. We may change or withdraw credit terms at any time.

3.5 If you pay late, we may charge interest and compensation under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998, and suspend further deliveries until your account is paid.

4.1 Delivery dates, areas and charges are confirmed for each order. Delivery dates are estimates and time is not of the essence.

4.2 You must inspect goods on delivery and tell us of any visible damage, shortage or incorrect items within [2] working days of delivery, and note any damage on the carrier's delivery record where possible.

4.3 Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery.

5.1 Ownership of the goods stays with us until we have received full payment for them and for any other goods supplied to you that are due for payment.

5.2 Until then, you must store the goods so they are identifiable as ours, and we may recover them if you fail to pay or become insolvent.

6.1 Returns are accepted only with our prior written agreement and are handled order by order.

6.2 Goods returned for reasons other than our error may be subject to a handling charge and must be unused, in their original packaging and in resaleable condition.

7.1 Our batteries carry a 3-year warranty from the date of invoice against defects in materials and workmanship, when correctly fitted, used and maintained in a compatible vehicle or application.

7.2 The warranty does not cover damage caused by incorrect fitting, overcharging, deep discharge, physical damage, accidents, use in an unsuitable application, or normal wear.

7.3 To claim, contact info@pionicltd.com with your invoice number and battery details. We may ask for a test report before accepting a claim. If a claim is accepted, we will repair, replace or credit the battery at our option.

8.1 Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be limited by law.

8.2 We are not liable for loss of profit, loss of business, or indirect or consequential loss.

8.3 Our total liability for any order is limited to the price paid for the goods in that order.

Lead-acid batteries contain hazardous materials. You are responsible for safe handling, storage and fitting, and for disposing of waste batteries in line with the Waste Batteries and Accumulators Regulations 2009.

10.1 These terms, with our order confirmation, form the whole agreement between us and override any terms you may supply.

10.2 These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
